About the Lodge
My name is Gee, and I swear by things built to last. I have a soft spot for waxed canvas, patinated leather and bags that gain a little more character with every trip, whether they come from Filson's workshops or from small makers like Nutsac, InnesBags or Trailcraft. My Red Wing boots and pocket knives go everywhere with me, built on the simple idea that a good object can be repaired, handed down and made more beautiful by age. I find the same love of the old in my collections: Hetzel editions of Jules Verne, coins, compasses, and I make no secret of it, I like to fancy myself a weekend Indiana Jones. Between a hike, a bike ride and planning the next trip, I'm always looking for gear that will age well, without ever giving up the spirit of adventure.
